Jennifer Suzor, CPM, 4th Option
Jennifer has over 30 years of experience working with separating families and has been an advocate for shifting the culture of the legal system so that mediation is used proactively and more frequently as she experienced the devastation of the adversarial court system during her years of legal practice. Now focussed entirely on mediation and training mediators, Jennifer is an Accredited Family Mediator, Accredited Child Protection Mediator and Accredited Intergenerational Mediator. In 2010 she began to operate the expanded Information and Mediation Program of the Ministry of Attorney General for the County of Essex as the President of Bridging Family Conflict in Windsor and Essex County. Jennifer was the President of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation for over five (5) years and has served on many other charitable boards. She is the recipient of the President’s Award from AFCCO for her work in promoting mediation. She credits her experience as a mother of four in a blended family and of a child with autism as some of her toughest training and her passion is helping families avoid unnecessary conflict and learn to communicate in a more effective and peaceful way.
